Patricia Jones, President and Founder of P.S. I Love You Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing at-risk children through educational and inspirational enrichment programs and community outreach events, has been awarded the 2012 Best of L.A. Women’s Business Award by Comerica Bank and the L.A. Lakers in the category of “Woman of Philanthropy”.

A senior Comerica Bank representative presented Ms. Jones the award center court prior to a L.A. Lakers home game at STAPLES Center last week. This is the third year the L.A. Lakers have teamed up with Comerica Bank to present the business awards and recognize women in leadership in Los Angeles.

“I am truly humbled by this award especially coming from these two big organizations”, says Ms. Jones. “It was a bigger than life experience”, she added about being center court at STAPLES Center. “I don’t carry the foundation on my shoulders alone, we have awesome volunteers and sponsors and this award is for them. Without their continued support the foundation wouldn’t exist”, stated Ms. Jones. In her selfless nature Jones turned the questioning away from herself and onto the organizations that allowed for this opportunity, “This awards program is amazing and I hope it continues to celebrate business women in the community... I honor what Comerica and the Lakers are doing for women.” 

Jones is also a full-time realtor, mother of two, and resides in Redondo Beach, California.
