Personal Advice From Consumers
Working with a REALTORĀ®
If you were happy with your previous Realtor, you should talk to him or her
again. It really helps to be really comfortable with your agent. Don't assume
you are the only one who doesn't understand something--asking questions is
crucial.
Marcia, Los Angeles
We decided to sell our house and called a
REALTORĀ® that specialized in our neighborhood. She suggested a listing price
that we thought was unrealistic, but we went ahead and trusted her instinct. We
couldn't have been more surprised when we had a signed contract for almost
asking price less than a week later. My advice would be to listen to your agent,
especially one that knows your neighborhood since your own estimate may be too
low or too high. Beverly, Oxnard
